This Certificate assures the customer of proper destruction of all Customer products, and of the legal and responsible disposition of all materials. The Certificate can be kept on file by the Customer and should be provided to any government agency inquiring about the proper disposal of these materials. CArecycler.com will work with any such government agency and provide documentation of the proper disposal of this equipment. Any of the following methods of destruction can be offered as part of this certification:

Utilizing our own 4 ton hydraulic press machine we are

capable of puncturing and physically destroying almost any type of equipment, making them impossible to reuse or recover. We can crush or fully puncture various products including phones, laptops, hard drives, printers, circuit boards, and much more.

We use advanced Department of Defense compliant software to wipe your data clean, by erasing, purging, and overwriting the drives multiple times, making the old data irrecoverable. Be advised that a drive must be functional in order to be “wiped”. Non-functional drives that can not be wiped will automatically be physically destroyed and degaussed. (fee may apply)

Just like shredding paper in a paper shredding machine we are able to shred most electronic, plastic, and metallic items to dust. Shredding is the ultimate and most extreme way in which we can destroy products. If your products need to be completely unrecognizable you can be guaranteed that Product Shredding will do the job.

Degaussing is the process of exposing electronic equipment to a powerful magnetic field. When exposed to the degausser’s industrial level magnetic field the data stored as magnetic 0’s and 1’s on a tape or hard disk is neutralized, and erased. At sufficiently high magnetic levels, components themselves on circuit boards can be damaged beyond re-use.

Material Separation is the practice of taking a packaged product and breaking it down into numerous streams of recyclable materials. For instance, with a new cell phone we might dismantle the product and packaging into the following distinct material types: Cardboard, Paper, Plastic, wires, circuit boards, batteries, and memory devices. Once separated into these categories, each material is sent to different downstream vendors ensuring that when the materials leave our secure facility, there is no economically feasible means for the different parts to be reunited. This practice is sometimes sufficient by itself as a means of Product Destruction but is usually combined with other methods as an added layer of assurance.
